New Light Theatre is now accepting actor video submissions for The White Chip, by Sean Daniels, directed by Charlie DelMarcelle. Performances at OperaDelaware Studios in Wilmington, DE March 6-15, 2026.

Sean Daniel's honest, frenetic, and wildly theatrical play The White Chip candidly chronicles a journey toward sobriety. Aiming to de-stigmatize substance use disorder, this funny, honest, and, ultimately, hopeful story illustrates the importance of recognizing our own true worth, prioritizing our connection to others, and learning to live with addiction while coming alive in recovery.

Seeking submissions for Steven, Mom/Dad, Actor 1, and Actor 2. All roles paid, non-union stipends of $2,500. Equity single engagement contracts may be considered.

Rehearsals for The White Chip will take place 4 weekday evenings and Sunday afternoons, starting in February, with tech week beginning February 27th, and performances March 6-15.
