We invite you to join us, and get into the holiday spirit by visiting the Spirits of Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol, adapted by local playwright Lisa VillaMil, presented as a virtual reading on December 19th.

The lessons of this timeless tale remind us that listening is the first step to learning, that we can find true and joyful fulfillment in our capacity for growth and self-improvement, and that, like Scrooge, we are called to fulfill our responsibilities to care for all members of our global community.

As always, New Light Theatre’s mission is to raise awareness and support for a thematically connected charitable cause. A Christmas Carol will be presented as a “pay what you decide” event, with proceeds being donated to the Food Bank of Delaware. While Food Bank of Delaware does incredible work year-round to provide low or no-cost food to those in need and to combat hunger, we know that especially this holiday season, our community needs their support. Visit www.fbd.org to find out more, and stay tuned to our social media for more details about A Christmas Carol, December 19th at 7PM on Facebook Live.
